I shall tell a pair of councils concerning power steering, for smaller quantity of problems at installation:

- A direction of the entrance and rudder shaft should coincide with "native";
- The weight category of "donor" should be not less "recipient"
- To remember, that the "donor-unit" will be necessary integrating to "native" details of car

On my 243 I have adapted steering from BMW535, 1980 (body E12). Is a little changed drop arm and rudder shaft. But this variant not so good for " of mass introduction ", For of "the mass installation " more suitable and accessible unit was required...
After some searches the choice ended on the steering from TLC PRADO 76-78 with the right arrangement of a rudder (models for japan, UK etc.) was made. The price of the steering, in Krasnoyarsk, (second hand) ~100 euro.
Further - steps of installation of the steering

Now, on three ARO, was establish such power steering from TLC70 with the right rudder.

View of the steering:

1 - Was formed the axle disposition "native steering". It fitting will visible on drawings. For it:
- remove nut from the ended shaft and make the low support;
- on the adjustment screw a fit the rod with carving, one side as ARO, other side as on new steering.

Such a make correctly the placement steering on the frame...

Further:
- Has removed "native" fastening of a steering.
- On drop arm ARO were made new splines (on the mechanic plant, by ~30E for piece ), according to the shaft of a steering TLC, and, disposition " of a zero point " of a steering.
- A steering, with established drop arm to fix in the adaptation, and, it is possible to begin to think out how to fix a steering on a frame.
- As it is made for a steering reducer TLC - on a photo.
