Hi. I have a problem with my motor D127. One week ago I change Piston rings on new. Cylinders are fine, they have very little wear. The problem is that I started the engine and began to spit oil out of the exhaust manifold. And exhaust are blue. THIS is normal at the beginning of the exchange of the rings in this engine? Brasov probably always smokes a lot?

This is normal as a D127 will NEVER work properly without eating up some oil (hence the blue smoke) if you only change the Piston Rings. You also need to change the Cylinder Sleeves / Liners as the old ones are worn out.

With us in Poland is a problem with the new parts for the engine. Where you can buy new ones for example pistons, piston rings? the Cylinder Sleeves / Liners are very good becase engine eating up some oil and not worn out.
My pistons are reworked because my father had problem with original piston rings. Rings are inserted from the engine of the same piston diameter and stroke. They were only a little thicker and make wider duct . I was a little worried when I saw the oil from the exhaust manifold.

Parts should not be a problem since they fit Fiat Tractors! You can get GOETZE rings and MAHLE pistons and sleeves.

It will never work on a D127 if you only change the rings, because the sleeves are already worn out to the exact shape of the old rings - and new ones will never tread perfectly on old sleeves.

I think a complete set (sleeves, rings and pistons) is about 100-130 Euros here. (Romanian made). The German counterparts are a bit more expensive though.

This would be an option - http://ruver.ro/

I haven't tried the RUVER ones yet, the old classic ALTUR ones can only be found in old stock in stores.
